Braconid or Ichneumon? - Atanycolus - female

Braconid or Ichneumon? - Atanycolus - Female
Bellevue, Sarpy County, Nebraska, USA
August 27, 2006
Size: approx. 1/2"
This small wasp was rescued from my rain barrel. It proceeded to dry itself and test its wings as I snapped a few shots. Is this a braconid or ichneumon? Other possibilities?

Thanks for any help!

Moved from Braconid Wasps.

Braconidae
I make out one recurrent vein and no ariole cell, so my guess is a braconid. But maybe someone else will have shaper eyes than I do.
