Identification

Genitalia:

Range

Ohio, Pennsylvania, Ontario, Quebec, Newfoundland; the taxonomic status of the California population is uncertain (Kaila 1996).

Food

Larvae are leafminers in several narrow-leaved spp of Carex, especially C. jamesii, according to Braun (1921).
