I first had this moth ID'd as Green Cloverworm. I think that is incorrect, but I cannot find a replacement ID. It was very small and the first specimen seemed to have a green tint to it. This one did not. See second specimen

Moved from Pyralid Moths.

Moved from Pyraloidea.

No matter how worn a Hypena scabra, it will always have that diagnostic black horizontal line midway, connecting the inner margins of FW. I'm thinking James is correct about Cacotherapia

can be put in Cacotherapia (Pyralidae). I can not put it to species level.

Thank you. Would it help if I posted another specimen. Unfortunately I played with the color to make it more green like my natural eye saw it, but I might be able to take some of that out.

Glad it wasn't easy for you either.

Moth is not green
Most moths are named for the caterpillar. The Cloverworm Caterpillar is green, not the moth
