Beautiful, collection date
A neat series. I believe you should enter the collection date, not the date of the photograph, in the date field for the image. This will put the correct data in the guide, showing when the beetle is to be found under the Data tab.

Collection Date
I was entering the collection date with the locality when I started posting but I noticed the photo would say it was copyrighted the year the insect was collected. Of course I was not around when some of my specimens were collected and the pics say they were copyrighted by me in the 1970s or something like that.
I can go back and change them if you don't see it as a big deal for the copyright.

Oh my--copyright
Aha! I had not thought of that. I feel the collection date is the most important thing for the guide. The copyright date is not so very important, even for your copyright--the term of which now lasts for the life of the creator (you) plus 70 years, I believe. (Years ago, it had a 28-year duration from publication, that's why everyone got into the habit of writing the year.)
