Iridopsis defectaria

Looks similar to the Small Engrailed (Ectropis crepuscularia) but maybe not. Thanks for any help.

No worries
I was doing some Guide cleaning and noticed it wasn't moved and there were no apparent objections, so I went ahead and moved it. Great photo by the way.

Maybe not...
After looking a bit, I think that this moth is a Bent-line Gray Moth (Iridopsis larvaria). Striations on the wing and overall color match a little better. Could also be a Brown-shaded Gray Moth (Iridopsis defecteria)

defectaria
I agree with
I.defectaria
. In
I.larvaria
the black PM line of the hindwing is more smoothly curved (almost sickle-like) as well as the black line above the HW discal spot being smoothly curved (sickle-like and toward anal margin). And most notably, the PM line of the forewing is particularly smoother in
larvaria
especially as it approaches the costa. In
defectaria
, the PM line does a bit of a loose zig-zag as it approaches the costa.

Thanks....
I think I will go with the Iridopsis larvaria, Michael. Very close to both.
Thanks,
