Size
Forewing length: 32-45 mm
Identification
Lighter gray compared to other Lintneria spp., wider hindwing bands, thinner black dash on apices of forewings. Overall smaller than other sympatric Lintneria sp.

"rolling hill country, associated with creek banks"

Sage - Salvia spp. (Lamiaceae) - BAMONA
Remarks
Imperiled globally because of rarity (6 to 20 occurrences) or because of other factors demonstrably making it very vulnerable to extinction throughout its range - BAMONA
Texas Parks & Wildlife considers this to be a "Species of Greatest Conservation Need" (SGCN) (1)
