, the best match on basis of appearance of the adult, geographic range, and larval foodplant is, in my opinion,

Perhaps something in
Gelechiini
? BTW I rotated your moth ... easier to ID. Otherwise, it's like trying to read the label on a spinning record. Wait, do you even remember records :)
