Moth in January - Phigalia denticulata

Moth in January - Phigalia denticulata
River Edge, Bergen County, New Jersey, USA
January 8, 2013
Very unusual to have any kind of Moth here in January. It was found on the side of my house at around 3:40 PM.

Toothed Phigalia - Hodges #6659
Moved from ID Request.

Full Size

Toothed Phigalia, male
That's a male Toothed Phigalia (Phigalia denticulata). It might be possible to locate a female, too, if you closely inspect the nearby walls. The females are interesting because they're almost wingless; you might not immediately recognize one as a moth. (The Guide doesn't seem to have a photo of the female yet.)

Thanks!
Thank you for the ID!o you have any idea how it turned up on my wall in the middle of the winter?
