Acanthocephala femorata - female

Acanthocephala femorata - Female
Victoria, Victoria County, Texas, USA
August 27, 2012
I found it sitting on a leaf of a vine plant, climbing on the stem of an Ambrosia species (pretty sure Ambrosia trifida L., but I can't ID the vine plant). I think it was siting on the leaf just to rest, not to eat.
I took three shots of dorsal, and it moved himself on stem of Ambrosia. But it did not stay long time and flew.
