Curculionidae, dorsal - Idiostethus tubulatus

Curculionidae, dorsal - Idiostethus tubulatus
Plymouth Rock, Winneshiek County, Iowa, USA
April 25, 2012
Size: 3 mm
Collected on wild geranium, Geranium maculatum.
Question: if this is Idiostethus tubulatus, I've already posted it from Iowa. However, I'd prefer to have this set of photos from this location on BG. Do I just leave the other photos or do I frass them? Thank you.

cool; let's keep both sets
Moved from Baridinae.

I am so pleased
that with the help of BG, the editors (that means you too), the experts (that means you too) and all the contributors, I'm actually beginning to learn. Maybe next time I'll recognize this little beast before I take all the photos.
