Philonthus debilis (Gravenhorst)
This is a good photograph that allows me to identify this species as
Philonthus debilis
(Gravenhorst). Note the five punctures in each dorsal row of the pronotum, as well as the two pale basal antenommeres. You can also see (transparently from above) the deep notch in the last abdominal sternum of this male.
Philonthus debilis
is an adventive Palaearctic species, 4.5-5.0 mm in length.
