Perhaps the same species as these mating ants?

These red-orange ants were found running around on a tree along with quite a few winged male ants. I was not able to get a clear picture of the winged ants found with these, as they were all running very quickly, but they looked a lot like these, I suspect the same species:


This was a very warm (lower-mid 70s) January day. ID help appreciated. Thanks!
