Is this Lytta sayi? - Lytta aenea

Is this Lytta sayi? - Lytta aenea
Jefferson, Marion County, Texas, USA
April 1, 2012
Size: ~20 mm
I was confident this was Lytta sayi, but then I saw the species hasn't been reported from Texas. Is there another beetle from this area that closely resembles Lytta sayi? Thanks in advance for whatever guidance you can provide!

Lytta aenea --det. J.D. Pinto
his comment: "I can't see the discriminating features but what is visible is consistent with aenea. The Texas populations of this species are distinct and were formerly placed in a separate species. Selander in his revision referred to TX/OK pops. as the Texas Race of aenea."

Moved from ID Request.

might be the common L. aenea
...but the angle is really unfortunate
