Woolly Bear - Pyrrharctia isabella

Woolly Bear - Pyrrharctia isabella
Interlake, Manitoba, Canada
September 21, 2004
I'm quite certain that this is a Banded Woolly Bear caterpillar - Larva of Pyrrharctia isabella (Isabella Tiger Moth) but I don't see any way to add it directly to the guide page. (Presumably this is restricted to editors? - Probably safer that way.)
This individual exhibits the other extreme of banding mentioned on the Guide page.

Because it is young
The younger the Woolly Bear is, the more black it has.

You can do it!
Just go to the image page, rather than the guide page, of the species and you should see the "add image" command at the top. You can also cut and paste any of your images from one place to another, should you change your mind or get a better ID.

I will move this one for you. Nice shot!

Oops
My bad - I see it now.
I'll know for next time.

Thanks Hannah.
