Euphoria levinotata, Orozco, 2012 - Euphoria levinotata - Female
Green Valley, Pima County, Arizona, USA
August 6, 1991
Size: 9.5 mm.
These were lying dead on the ground being feasted on by ants under a mesquite tree. They apparently had been quite abundant a few days earlier. This small black Euphoria has a few weak cretaceous spots to none. They have been associated with Wood Rat nests.
