Norm: are you sure this is Pollenia? Please note the abundant white setae on the postegena in lateral view (second image). Furthermore, the gena does not appear to be high enough.

Moved from ID Request. Thanks guys. I must admit I'm terrible at keys, esp. in areas where I don't usually dabble, like with flies. I uploaded a larger image if that helps at all.

I'd say Pollenia sp. too

Without being able to see all the setal details in the key, the overall impression seems to fit P. vagabunda, based on the middorsal vitta.
