Thanks... the Hypena eductalis at the bottom corner of Wagner p. 67 looks close too, but the host and habitat are all wrong. The HOSTS database lists Quercus as a host for H. palparia, but that one doesn't look as close (and Wagner has it only feeding on Betulaceae).
