Epitheca spinosa Vineland - Epitheca spinosa - male

Epitheca spinosa Vineland - Epitheca spinosa - Male
Vineland, Cumberland County, New Jersey, USA
April 17, 2011
Netted and glassed the terminal apendage. Dead ringer for Epitheca-spinosa. Upward point spine near the tip of the cerci is diagonotic and can be seen in photo. I would place it in the correct page but I am unable to find it. This is an immature because the eyes are not blue.

Moved from Baskettails.

This is
Epitheca spinosa. The appendages are diagnostic...similar species do not occur in southern NJ

Moved
Moved from ID Request. We can put it here for now, until someone confirms the ID and creates a page.
