Eggs or cocoons - Meteorus

I found this string of eggs or cocoons hanging from a sensitive fern. As I tried to take a photo, a small wasp (Braconid??) arrived and began exploring them. I honestly can't make up my mind whether they are eggs or are cocoons. I've gone back and forth, and finally I give up. I hope someone may be able to help, and even say what made them (at first, I thought they were a string of spider egg sacs, but...).

Meteorus cocoons
These are cocoons of Meteorus, a braconid wasp. I'm not sure what the wasp in your photo is.
