Unknown Orb Weaver - Larinioides sclopetarius
Flushing Meadows Park, Queens County, New York, USA
September 14, 2012
Found with together with my last three posts of unknown orb weavers; this is by far the largest, at least 20mm with legs. Also have images of what appears to be the male of the same species, will post if necessary

Moved
Moved from ID Request. Yes I agree this is a mature female and definitely Larinioides sclopetarius. Please post the male image as well. I moved your 3 juvenile images to this page as well. These may be very helpful in determining what this species can look like at different stages.

There is a small chance that you have more than one species hanging out together, but I don't think that's very likely.

Ok I will
post the male as well. I thought it would be a little weird for different species to be hanging in such close proximity, to the point of almost sharing webs

and now that I go back I see
I have one mature and one possibly immature male as well, and also one more female image

Wonder if this one might be
Larinioides sclopetarius
