Size: ~15 mm
The black circle was the location of the spider prey (I couldn't get shots of it there as this wasp was particularly nervous, even for a spider wasp).
The green line was the route the wasp used when it dragged the prey into the nest.
The thin red line was the route the wasp used when leaving nest construction to check on or re-sting the spider, the blue line was the route it took on return. Evidently it was using the two twigs and the small mound of wet sand as orientation structures.
