Trigonarthris minnesotana, I think
Hello Larry,
It does look like T. minnesotana, based upon the very pubescent pronotum (so not T. atrata) and the convex epipleural margin. I usually also confirm between T. minnestotana and T. proxima by the presence (T.p.) or absence (T.m.) on the pygidium of a notch (male) or (ridge) female.
Cheers,
Jeff H.

Trigonarthris
Thanks for the details on separating T.proxima from T. minnesotana. Manitoba has recorded both species so I'll move it to the genus page.
