Silphidae - Oiceoptoma
Alas, I don't know the date or the location. It could have come from several different states.
I found it, very dead, underneath (what now passes for) the spare wheel and tire.
(They say you can actually drive on that toy wheel and tire but I'm not sure I'd trust it.)
