would like to see the apical part of the pronotum & the head --expect the snout to be rather protruding

Good one!
Brachysomida rugicollis
Lindsley and Chemsak, 1972. Originally described from five specimens. The pronotal disc has the dense punctation running together to form a rugose appearance. It would be great if you could get a clearer shot of the pronotum.

In 1972...
it was known from one Utah specimen collected at Fort Duchesne. Its known from Idaho, Wyoming, and Montana also.
