Size: 13 mm
Mouth of underlying burrow, which descends into wood, is 3 mm high, 2 mm wide. Over a dozen empty cases composed of wood splinters found 1.5 m up under loose bark of 11 cm dbh standing white pine snag. Much like this case of Pissodes notatus photoed in Poland.
