Have t seen a lot of spiders over in our winters just want to know the name this one most likely common just couldn't find it be great to know the name

This is a wolf spider, and might be in the genus
Pardosa
. There are many species in Alberta and they are often found, like this one, on the top of snow when the air temperature is close to or above freezing. This specimen, from what I can see of the palps, is an immature male.
I can't see enough detail in your picture to suggest which species it is.
