Explanation of Names
Agapostemon (Agapostemon) splendens (Lepeletier, 1841)
Identification
Males: Hind femora robust, thickened, only about twice as long as the greatest width.
Females: Abdomen metallic green.
Dark wings, not clear.
Range
Montana to Arizona to Florida to Maine.
Season
April to October, with records in Florida of February, March and November.
Food
