Feb moth - Phoberia

Feb moth - Phoberia
Fayetteville, Washington County, Arkansas, USA
February 14, 2013
Photographed at a porch light in an urban environment near small patches of woods. Apologies for the yellow tinge and grain, phone camera was all I had and it couldn't compensate for the incandescent light very well.

Phoberia atomaris Common Oak
Phoberia atomaris Common Oak Moth: They are common indeed this time of year - at least here in North Florida. On account of the yellow tinge, after learning the ID I would send the image to Frass if it were mine because there are many images of this species posted already and Arkansas is covered for February.
