Micrathetis tecnion

Micrathetis tecnion
McAllen, Hidalgo County, Texas, USA
January 25, 2013
Think I found a match at MPG (TX Lep. Survey). Looks a lot like the one there and the other two species are not even close. Only two other records, one in AZ and one in the RGV of TX.

Micrathetis tecnion - Hodges #9646
Moved from Moths.

Excellent Photograph of a perfect specimen! Hopefully, Maury will add to MGP :)

Micrathetis tecnion
Donald,
This is definitely Micrathetis tecnion, based on Maury's ID

It also matches Dyar's original description, "Middle line not so strongly oblique, bent a little at the black punctiform & reniform, preceded by a slight brown shade." Interestingly, Dyar did not mention the two black discal spots.
