Rindgea includes 13 species in America north of Mexico.

Forewing is a mottled brownish color and lacks the black marks along the costa where the transverse lines begin. The very similar
Rindgea nigricomma has the bold black marks along the costa and is a more gray color.

In the United States known only from Brownsville, Laguna Atascosa and the Sabal Palm Sanctuary of Cameron County, Texas.
