Can you make me less crabby with an ID? Ah, it's the sheep crab, Loxorhynchus grandis. - Loxorhynchus grandis

Shot in aquarium 6-29-2012

This is my first request for ID on a marine critter. A couple of questions:

1) Did I submit too many images?

2) Should I have posted this here in ID request, or with Crabs, Crayfishes, Lobsters, Prawns, and Shrimp (Decapoda)?

Howdy, Ron.
Nice to see you posting again!

In my opinion (and it's only that), the number of images seems quite reasonable. Who knows what the crustacean specialists will need to see?

As far as posting locale, I'd suggest placing them in Decapoda, or perhaps even Brachyura (it doesn't seem to fit in any of the other Infraorders).

Just my two cents, for what they may be worth.

Thanks, Ken
Together, we have four cents.

Four damn good cents, if you ask me.
Hey, when are we going to start working on those Spilomyia pics?

Uh, just as soon as you remind me. Maybe.
The trail grew cold, then so did my feet. Will explain in email.
