Excellent ID shot!
This is an excellent shot of a
Diadasia rinconis
male!
D. rinconis
is normally impossible to distinguish from its close relative
D. australis
from photos, but since you've captured both the comma-shaped flange on the right hind basitarsus and the following tarsomere, I can tell you that this is what he is :)

Thank you!
As a novice entomological enthusiast, I had to look up some of the language, but it is great to learn! I appreciate your taking the time to share the finer points of identification for this species.

My pleasure!
I'm glad that there's someone out there who actually takes the time to look up the definitions when we editors point them out! :)
I look forward to more great photos from you!
