Black Fly larvae

Size: <1cm
I know the picture isn't great but these things were TINY. They were attached to algae-covered rocks in a shallow, rocky ephemeral stream and they were always attached to the top. Can anyone get it down to genus?

The first step in sorting is to check the color of the antennae: which segments are clear and which are dark.
