Valenzuela sp. - Valenzuela manteri - female

Valenzuela sp. - Valenzuela manteri - Female
Palmetto State Park, Gonzales County, Texas, USA
February 18, 2013
Size: 2.4 mm
This micropterous female was found on dead leaves of Palmetto. I sent two specimens to Mockford for his opinion. He suspects they are in the Manteri Complex, but we will have to wait and see. I don't know what the male might look like or even if there are any males associated with this species.
