all-yellow soldier beetles - Chauliognathus discus
base of Organ Mountains, Dona Ana County, New Mexico, USA

Size: about 18 mm
I found a couple of adjacent bushes of different types that had become a meeting ground for this species of soldier beetle. Many were coupled. I collected four to photograph.
