M. borealis by chance? - Melanoplus borealis - female

M. borealis by chance? - Melanoplus borealis - Female
Sandilands Provincial Forest, southeast of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada
June 16, 2011
Found next to grassy clearing in mixed woods, forbs and shrubs also present. Given the date, location, length of tegmen, stocky look and markings, I thought borealis was the best fit. ID may not be posstible given the angle of the photo but thoughts are welcome.
