Nice photos Tim!
Beyond the angulate pronotal margin shown in the dorsal shot, this photo shows clearly the diagnostic "post coxal lines" on the first abdominal sternite. They are sometimes hard to see, but start at the inner edge of the metacoxae and extend across the first sternite, diverging slightly. This is a GREAT feature for distinguishing Melanophthalma from other Corticariines.

Also, this one is a male and with a little more of the aedeagus showing, we would probably be able to put it to species!!!
