Blk Lady beetle with orange spots 1 of 2 - Chilocorus cacti

Blk Lady beetle with orange spots 1 of 2 - Chilocorus cacti
Kendale Lakes, Miami-Dade County, Florida, USA
January 3, 2013
Size: aprox. 6-7 mm
There were 2 or 3 just like this on a tree and one Multicolored Asian Lady beetle (of the color orange with multiple small black spots variant) I know there is a variant of Multicolor that looks like this but I thought the white markings on face and pronotum were key in ID. None of these had any white on pronotum or face whatsoever. They were the same size as other Multicolor (large lady beetles not tiny)Are they a variation of Multicolor as I suspect with no white? Thank you.
