yellow-dusted cream - Gueneria similaria

yellow-dusted cream - Gueneria similaria
Epping, Rockingham County, New Hampshire, USA
May 30, 2012
Size: Wingspan is 2.9 cm
I believe this moth is a yellow-dusted cream (Cabera erythemaria) but would like confirmation from an expert.

Attracted to the backdoor light.

Thanks,
Siobhan

Very tentative ID. Tom has one that was dissected here.

I agree .

Gueneria similaria?
I think this should be moved to subfamily if you are not sure. The weak bend in the am. line and heavy bend in the costal margin near the base looks more like that of Gueneria similaria.
