That's fine

When I first came to BugGuide.net, I was uploading larger images. It wasn't until I read through the image guidelines and saw that the preferred size for a long edge was 560 pixels that I started changing. I agree that being able to see more detail is really helpful!

If the lighting or exposure

or focus is just average, 560 is fine, but in an image with good exposure and good focus such as this, more pixels is better! BugGuide will accept images up to about 2Mb.

No worry if you accidentally unlink.

Just "tag" them both and link them again. No need to resubmit.
You can see that we linked all three of your other images now.

Actually, the reason I deleted this one is that I accidentally exported to a larger size than is recommended. I was going to replace it with a 560px-wide image.
