8371 - Bleptina inferior

8371 - Bleptina inferior
Florida City, Florida, USA
February 24, 2011
Many thanks to Jim Vargo for the ID.

This looks like a well marked female 8371 Bleptina inferior. The purple shade is diagnostic for this species. Jim

Probably B. caradrinalis?
With all due respect to Jim, unless this was barcoded, this doesn't seem to match Grote's original description which emphasizes the uniformity of the FW color and *lack* of shading in the outer part of the FWs.
