Identification
It is exceedingly difficult to separate some Acanthepeira specimens from the southeastern United States and it appears that three species interbreed.(1) A. cherokee and A. stellata can be fairly hard to separate, so when we can't tell which species it is we'll place them on this overlap page for now.
