Green Caterpillar - Chlorochlamys chloroleucaria

Green Caterpillar - Chlorochlamys chloroleucaria
Kohler-Andrae State Park, Sheboygan County, Wisconsin, USA
September 3, 2006
Size: 1/2 inch
Couldn't find a similar caterpillar in the guide. There are plenty of small bright green ones, but none other with the single light brown stripe. Looking for an assist.

Moved from Geometrid Moths.

looks like a cleft head
so we will suggest Hethemia pistasciaria - Pistachio Emerald - Hodges#7084 as another possibility. Images in the guide here

Pistachio Emerald
It does look more like the pistachio emerald to me. It's a lighter green and the light brown line follows along the same line.

Blackberry Looper?
This is a caterpillar of a Geometrid moth, and it looks quite a bit like the caterpillar of the Blackberry Looper (Chlorochlamys chloroleucaria).
