Aeschna sp. Probably Canada Darner, but not sure if these could be identified with certainly from dorsal shots.

a shot from the side would make the job much easier. Getting the end of the abdomen in focus could have helped, too. 7 cm would be closer for the likely suspects.

 
I wonder if this is a Shadow
I wonder if this is a Shadow Darner? I withdrew the size, as it was guesstimated.
