I thought this looked similar to some of the symmerista caterpillars. Does anyone know?

S. canicosta
According to the
NPWRC
, in S.albifrons on the dorsum, the 5 black stripes are even in width with the 4 white stripes, but in S.canicosta the 5 black stripes are wider than the 4 white stripes. That leads me to believe you have a S.canicosta there. Compare to the
S.albifrons larva pictures
and you can see the difference in the dorsum stripes. I'd say it's safe to move this to the Symmerista canicosta page.
