Dendroides canadensis…
These larvae are typically found on the exposed areas of dead logs, while D. concolor are usually found beneath the bark, and in the decaying wood of the undersides of logs that are adjacent to, or partially buried in the soil. The eighth abdominal segment is often nearly twice the length of the seventh.
