Dark skipper - perhaps Eufala or Wandering? - Panoquina errans

Dark skipper - perhaps Eufala or Wandering? - Panoquina errans
Big Canyon, Newport Beach, Orange County, California, USA
September 6, 2006
Dark and very quick. Found among many Fiery Skippers in an area near an estuary. Eufala and Wandering are possibilities, even though they are fairly scarce. I can't find any other this dark. A fast flyer and hard to approach.

ID confirmed; Guide page needed for Panoquina errans
No more wondering; it's Wandering. Peter Bryant of UCI confirmed the ID and has shot this species in the same location. I went to move the images, then found there was no place. Can someone help me out?

Wandering looks good
Even in these shots you can see the pale veining on both wings. Habitat seems right too.

Great; that was my first thought.
Looking at images on the Net got me really confused. Thanks yet again for your expertise and assistance. Hope to get better photos tomorrow.
