Handsome Wasp - Dielis plumipes - Male
Desoto, Dallas County, Texas, USA
April 12, 2013
Size: 21mm
Campsomeris? I tried photographing this one on the Yaupon Holly where it was nectaring but the flowers are so tiny that it never stayed on one long enough for me to get the picture. Captured, chilled, measured, photographed, and released.
