Laurelcherry Smoky Moth - Hodges #4631.2 - Neoprocris floridana

Laurelcherry Smoky Moth - Hodges #4631.2 - Neoprocris floridana
Tallahassee, Leon County, Florida, USA
March 19, 2013
Size: egg patch 10 mm long
Eggs on underside of Laurelcherry leaf. Linked images show hatched caterpillars up to 6th day. After 10 days caterpillars had disappeared from the puny shrub. Whether those on a shrub ~1m away were the same brood I don't know and pictures, therefore, are not shown.
Edit: Some caterpillars were discovered on the original shrub on the 23rd day and are shown on a linked image.
