I believe this is a Cabbage White butterfly (Pieris rapae) male but would like a confirmation.

I don't think it's a Cabbage White
For one thing, it doesn't have the yellow hindwing. What size was it? It looks more like a winter form Eurema daira to me (but that's a much smaller butterfly than the Cabbage White):

Hannah, you make excellent points. The size of the specimen was about 12 mm forewing tip to body (certainly smaller than a cabbage white). I believe you are correct that this specimen matches Eurema daira. Thanks.
